Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how Ascend handles cancellations, renewals, and refund requests for paid subscriptions.

Last updated: April 9, 2026

1. Subscription renewals

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled before the renewal date through the billing management flow.

2. Cancellation

When a subscription is canceled, access to paid features generally continues until the end of the current paid period unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law.

3. Refunds

Charges that have already been processed are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where a refund is approved at our discretion for clear billing mistakes, duplicate charges, or comparable exceptional cases.

4. Trial conversions

If a trial converts into a paid subscription, the user is responsible for canceling before the conversion date if they do not want to be charged.

5. Downgrades and plan changes

If plan changes are supported, the billing provider may apply the change on the next billing date or according to its own proration rules.

6. How to request help

For billing help, cancellations, or refund review requests, use our support page and include the account email plus a brief description of the issue.
